1. The 16KB Memory Page Size Standard
Android 15 introduced native support for 16KB memory pages on ARM64 architectures. While 16KB pages yield up to 10% performance increases in app launch times and lower memory latency, they cause immediate segmentation faults on legacy 4KB-only native binaries:

On Android 15, the partition flashing target depends on whether your device uses standard GKI 2.0 or an OEM modular ramdisk:
- Standard GKI Devices (Google Pixel 7/8/9, OnePlus 12/11): Target
init_boot.imgexclusively. Never patchboot.img. - OEM Modular Ramdisk Devices (Select MediaTek & Xiaomi devices): Some OEM Android 15 firmware packages place the first-stage ramdisk in
vendor_boot.img. Magisk v30+ automatically detects and patchesvendor_bootwhen required. - Samsung Galaxy (S25/S24/S23): Target the
APtarball containinginit_boot.img.lz4andvbmeta.img.lz4via Odin.
3. Private Space Sandboxing & Multi-User Root
Android 15 introduced Private Space, an isolated user profile (typically User 10+) with separate encryption keys and app sandboxes.
MagiskSU natively supports multi-user root enforcement on Android 15. Root access granted to an app in the main user profile does not automatically leak into Private Space unless explicitly authenticated by the device owner via Magisk Manager.
4. Passing Play Integrity & Google Wallet on Android 15
To maintain Google Wallet tap-to-pay and banking application access on Android 15 with an unlocked bootloader:
- Enable Zygisk in Magisk Settings.
- Add Google Play Services and Google Wallet to the DenyList.
- Install the latest Play Integrity Fix (PIF) module.
- Install Shamiko to conceal root binaries from memory scanning.
- Clear data for Google Play Store and reboot.
